AirTight to expand Pune center

PUNE: AirTight Networks, provider of wireless perimeter security solutions, has announced that it would be investing close to $12 million in the next five years at its Pune center.

Talking to media persons, the company's President, Kiran Deshpande said that the company has so far raised from venture capitalists funding of about $10 million and $12 million from the series A & B respectively.

At present the company's Pune center undertakes activities such as R&D, 24X7 customer support, WiFi Planning Service, education and training for customers and partners along with the product deployment service.

Deshpande said, "The new investments would primarily be utilized for R&D, setting up of a testing lab, HR and the business development effort. The company has so far invested $3.5 million in Pune center."
