Dear Sureshbhaiji,
I find in 'PUNE TIMES'third page is changing the culture of Pune.We can increase the affluant class without damaging the rich culture.I had spoken once to editor with no positive response. What exactly this suppliment giving to society? The news of death of two familiy members who died in a road accident in Goa last week was on front page in Daily Sakal and was inside page in Pune Times.
If you see there are rich cultural programmes which should get presference in news If you see Pune Times it is very disturbing. Those who come to Pune on official work from outside and read this news paper's Pune Times suppliment , they would be misled by what they read. Are pune people spending time only in Pubs and parties?
Your intervention is required. Can you do something?

City goes green, gets LPG auto-rickshaws

http://cities.expressindia.com/fullstory.php?newsid=103681

I did see one LPG auto recently on Pune-Solapur road.  Are these slowly making their way into the 5th most polluted city of the world?  6-seaters running on LPG would be so cost effective and env-friendly.

Hon. Kalmadi sahib, please do something to save Pune.  Can we expect some CNG stations by April 2005?

Every registered user, when logged in, will see options for "Your Diary" and "New Diary Entry." This is the equivalent of a personal blog, i.e. a weblog. In your diary you can write about anything by clicking on "New Diary Entry," and it will immediately be published on the Home page in the same box in which you first saw this article's headline "How to Use the "Member Diaries" feature ..."

This is your space to express anything.

To get published in any other place of the Home page you can either write a comment to some story which will show up in the "Recent Comments" box, or you can use the "Submit Story" option. After online voting the submitted article will be posted on the main section of the Home page.

We believe in giving a lot of latitude for free expression, but like everywhere else the final decision of whether to delete an inappropriate entry will be made by skalmadi.org committee. But, other than that, post away ...

Please make more public toilets

Are you tired of seeing a row of men relieving themselves around the racecourse wall?  Or anywhere in general?  When will we understand some basic hygiene.  I wish Pune takes a lead and invites Faud to make some high class toilets here:
 http://www.hinduonnet.com/thehindu/mp/2003/07/24/stories/2003072400480300.htm

First location could be Pune-Sholapur road near the racecourse.  For some reason, men can't seem to hold the urge when they see that open expanse of land.

When will the Kalyaninagar-Koregaon Park bridge finish?

What;s the latest estimate on this bridge becoming completely functional?  Do we have to wait for the 4-laning of N. Main Road to be done before this happens?
